Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Campaign Gameplay Revealed During Gamescom
This was the first gameplay footage shown for the upcoming action-packed shooter.
As part of Gamescom Opening Night Live, Activision's Raven Software showed off a new look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's campaign. An extended gameplay sequence showed off a mission called Most Wanted. In this mission, players infiltrate a compound with the aim of rescuing one of their own from a black site in Washington, D.C.
As announced previously, Raven Software developed Black Ops 6's campaign, with Treyarch handling the multiplayer and Zombie elements, alongside Activision's network of studios around the world.
The Black Ops 6 campaign takes place in the '90s as the Cold War is coming to an end. Call of Duty characters Frank Woods and Russell Adler return from past Black Ops games, joined by newcomer Troy Marshall and Jane Harrow. The story, like other Black Ops games, involves unraveling a "mind-bending conspiracy" on a global scale.
Black Ops 6 launches on October 25, but players can try out the beta beginning August 30. More details on Black Ops 6 will be announced during Call of Duty Next on August 28.
