Starfield Adds Vehicles Tonight, Shattered Space DLC Launches In September
I can't wait to do space donuts.
During Gamescom Opening Night Live, Bethesda showed off the Rev-8, a land vehicle players can use to travel around planets, along with a release date for its upcoming DLC, Shattered Space for Starfield.
The studio decided to have a little fun with the trailer. Instead of showcasing it as an exploration game, most of the trailer played as if it were a racing sim like Forza. It showed the Rev-8 going through various planets and hitting sick drifts. However, on top of being able to transport players around, it appears it can also be used for combat. Players will be able to take the Rev-8 for free later tonight when it drops.
The REV-8 drives, jumps, shoots, and can even mine for resources - and it's Vasco-approved 👍

In addition to showing off the Rev-8, Bethesda revealed that the Shattered Space DLC would be released later this year on September 30. Based on what was shown for the Shattered Space DLC, Bethesda will be leaning toward the cosmic horror genre. This is fitting because the upcoming DLC will explore more of House Va'Ruun, which is one of the main factions in-game. It's also worth mentioning that Bethesda teased the Rev-8 a few months ago in a video announcing quality-of-life changes.
