Black Myth: Wukong curios guide - Where to find all accessories and trinkets in the campaign
There are dozens of curios in Black Myth: Wukong. Many of these are found in small jewelry boxes with a golden glow, while others come from larger chests.
Moreover, we've seen a few drop from specific enemies. As of the time of this writing, we're unable to confirm if these drops are guaranteed, or if there's only a small chance to get them as you farm the same enemy types.
Wind Chime
- Location: Chapter 1 - Those who purchased the Deluxe Edition can find their goodies, including the Wind Chime trinket, when interacting with any shrine.
- Effect: Slightly increases movement speed.
Cat Eye Beads
- Location: Chapter 1 - Defeat the Wandering Wight spirit miniboss.
- Effect: Slightly increases critical hit chance.
Agate Jar
- Location: Chapter 1 - After beating the Black Wind King, check the container at the terrace.
- Effect: Moderately increases defense.
Boshan Censer
- Location: Chapter 1 - Before you can enter this dragon's lair, you must first obtain the Loong Scales. The key item can be found in a small chamber that's accessible upon destroying the bronze wall near where you fought the First Prince of Flowing Sands in Chapter 2. Once you have the item, go to the waterfalls near the Outside the Forest shrine in Chapter 1.
- Effect: Grants considerable damage reduction when gourd use has been depleted.
Back Scratcher
- Location: Chapter 2 - Purchase from a shrine's shop menu for 2,400 will.
- Effect: Considerably increases maximum stamina.
Goldflora Hairpin
- Location: Chapter 2 - This Black Myth: Wukong curio requires you to complete the Man-in-Stone quest. You may then purchase this item for 12,800 will.
- Effect: Increase the will gained from defeating enemies.
Glazed Reliquary
- Location: Chapter 2 - After defeating the Tiger Vanguard boss, follow the cliffside path at the back of the temple. Eventually, you'll come across a Tiger Acolyte boss guarding a narrow pass. The item itself is in the cave just past this foe, and the tunnels will lead you back to the Stone Vanguard's arena.
- Effect: Recover a small amount of stamina when you perform a perfect dodge.
Tridacna Pendant
- Location: Chapter 2 - Similar to the Red Loong where you got the Boshan Censer, you also need to enter this loong's lair behind a waterfall--except, this time, it's the sand waterfall in Rockrest Flat.
- Effect: Slightly reduces the cooldown of all spells.
Tiger Tally
- Location: Chapter 2 - To get this trinket, you must have access to the Chapter 2 secret area. Defeat the other version of the Tiger Vanguard here to receive this reward.
- Effect: Upon successful hits with a light attack combo, gain a moderate increase to your attack for a short duration.
Mani Bead
- Location: Chapter 3 - After beating the Macaque Chief for the first time, continue along the path and turn left at the temple. There are some shambling zombies here that drop this accessory.
- Effect: Moderately increases your critical hit chance when in a chilled state.
Fine China Tea Bowl
- Location: Chapter 3 - Found in the lower area of the Pagoda Realm. It’s guarded by a blade-wielding warrior.
- Effect: Moderately increases stamina recovery rate.
Frostsprout Twig
- Location: Chapter 3 - Obtained after beating Captain Lotus-Vision. Its lair can be accessed by dropping down the ledges right next to the Upper Pagoda waypoint. Note that this objective is also part of the Chapter 3 Pagoda Realm side quest.
- Effect: Moderately increases chill resistance.
Maitreya's Orb
- Location: Chapter 3 - Guarded by two enemies in the cave system after the first Non-White boss encounter.
- Effect: Land enough successful hits on an enemy to avoid the next fatal blow.
Gold Spikeplate
- Location: Chapter 3 - Defeat the giant temple monk along the left-hand side of Longevity Road.
- Effect: Considerably increases defense; deals damage to surrounding enemies upon taking hits.
Cuo Jin-Yin Belt Hook
- Location: Chapter 4 - This Black Myth: Wukong curio can be yours shortly after starting Chapter 4. When you’ve tagged the Upper Hollow shrine, take a look at the sloping path that’s next to it. There’s a chest at the end of the tunnel and it contains this reward.
- Effect: Moderately increases poison resistance.
Spine in the Sack
- Location: Chapter 4 - Defeat the enemies in the first platform with numerous spider sacs just past the Upper Hollow shrine.
- Effect: Moderately increases poison damage.
Golden Carp
- Location: Chapter 4 - After obtaining the Loong Scale in Chapter 2, you need to defeat the other secret loong enemies in the other regions. Once that's done, this fella will appear in the Relief of the Fallen Loong shrine in Chapter 4.
- Effect: Moderately increases the chance of obtaining materials from defeated enemies.
Jade Moon Rabbit
- Location: Chapter 4 - Dropped by a certain "spoilery" boss that you face in the Purifying Spring area.
- Effect: Slightly increases damage reduction; the effect is enhanced if you also equip the Gold Sun Crow.
Tablet of the Three Supremes
- Location: Chapter 4 - Just before the Temple Entrance shrine, you'll spot several monk trainees and the Commander Beetle spirit elite. Take out all the hostiles so you can open the container at the altar without any hassles.
- Effect: Considerably increases critical hit chance when health is low.
Virtuous Bamboo Engraving
- Location: Chapter 4 - Dropped by the Snake Guai (i.e. snake monks) in the yard just past the Temple Entrance waypoint.
- Effect: Slightly increases might recovery rate.
- Location: Chapter 4 - From the Court of Illumination shrine (the last one just before the chapter’s main boss), turn around and go through the tunnel. At the end of this path is a hut where you’ll find a drink and a spirit elite. However, there’s also a narrow path here that leads to a darkened chamber. Beyond that is a large tree, as well as an altar with several buddha statuettes.
- Effect: Increases your maximum health, mana, and stamina for a relatively long duration after resurrection.
Celestial Registry Tablet
- Location: Chapter 4 - To get this curio in Black Myth: Wukong, you need to unlock the Chapter 4 secret area first. Then, continue exploring until you see a small gazebo in the open area near the Petalfall Hamlet waypoint. The jewelry box is inside the gazebo.
- Effect: Slightly increases the experience points you gain from defeating enemies.
Gold Sun Crow
- Location: Chapter 4 - Similar to the above, this particular accessory is also found in the Chapter 4 secret area. Specifically, it's near the clearing just past the Scorpionlord boss. Go up the hill and cross the rope bridge to open this chest.
- Effect: Slightly increases damage bonus; the effect is enhanced if you also equip the Jade Moon Rabbit.
Amber Prayer Beads
- Location: Chapter 5 - Upon entering the cave after the Father of Stones boss fight, you’ll notice an opening to the right that leads to a small nook.
- Effect: Moderately increases the speed in which you gain focus points.
Gold Button
- Location: Chapter 5 - Defeat one of the giant Rakshasa soldiers in Rakshasa Palace.
- Effect: Significantly increases your attack power while at full health.
Flame Orb
- Location: Chapter 5 - Dropped by the Rusty-Gold Cart as part of the Chapter 5 secret quest.
- Effect: Moderately increases burn resistance.
Daoist's Basket of Fire and Water
- Location: Chapter 5 - This is one of the rewards that you'll obtain upon completing the Chapter 5 secret area objective.
- Effect: Moderately increases the attack power of all burn-inflicting and chill-inflicting transformations.
Celestial Birthstone Fragment
- Location: Chapter 6 - Once you've unlocked the Somersault Cloud (i.e. flying cloud mount), glide to the eastern corner of the region just past the Gold Armored Rhino boss. At the riverbank, you'll see a frog miniboss called Ling-Baw-Baw. Defeat it to receive this accessory.
- Effect: Ignores the enemy's Four Bane resistances (i.e. burn, frost, shock, and poison).
