The open-world fashion-adventure game Infinity Nikki has just hit a major milestone, as it has surpassed 12 million pre-registrations so far for its upcoming closed beta. Developer PaperGames broke the news on its X/Twitter account, while also setting an ambitious goal to ultimately reach 30 million pre-registrations.

It's worth noting that pre-registration numbers are tied to in-game bonuses, as each new milestone unlocks more bonuses for potential players. In addition to previously unlocked bonuses like in-game currencies and materials, players will get three Resonite Crystals thanks to the latest surge in interest, and reaching the 20 million milestone will unlock the Far-and-Away four-star outfit.

If Infinity Nikki reaches 25 million pre-registered players, more Resonite crystals will be handed out, and at 30 million, even more of the precious minerals will be given to players as in-game assets. If you're interested, you can pre-register through this link.

In case you missed it, a new trailer for Infinity Nikki was shown off during Gamescom Opening Night Live. Development on Infinity Nikki is being led by The Legend of Zelda expansion pass director Kentaro Tominaga, and the game bills itself as a cozy open-world adventure with puzzles to solve and secret areas to discover. The main draw of Infinity Nikki is that you'll be able to equip different outfits on the protagonist Nikki to help her access new abilities, and the game has a charming anime-influenced art direction.

There's no concrete release date for it yet, but Infinity Nikki will launch for PC, PS5, iOS, and Android.
