Three additional games are leaving Xbox Game Pass at the end of August, so make sure to give them a shot before then! The games include NBA 2K24 for both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, Atomic Heart, and Guilty Gear Strive. Remember that they can bought at a 20% discount until they leave.
While NBA 2K24 is going away, fans at least have the new 2K25 to look forward to when it launches on September 6, although it won't launch in Game Pass. Atomic Heart is a first-person shooter game that takes place in the Soviet Union, and doesn't hide its BioShock Infinite influences. In GameSpot's Atomic Heart review, we said, "Atomic Heart lacks follow-through on its most interesting narrative concepts and plays it safe with its first-person shooter gameplay."
Guilty Gear Strive is also leaving Game Pass, and the game is still going strong with a vibrant fighting game community since its 2021 release. Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunners is going to be a guest character for the game, and she's coming in 2025. In GameSpot's Guilty Gear Strive review, we said, "Guilty Gear Strive continues the series' legacy of complex and rewarding technical fighters, enhanced with a new look, characters, and ideas that bring its bold, complex gameplay to new heights."
